Remote saxophone recording / session saxophonist
One of the great things about living in Ostend, aside from being just a walking distance from the North Sea and what a relaxed, fun town it is in general, is that real estate is super inexpensive. Thanks to this I’m now living in a house with enough room for me to build my own small studio. Not only can I practice as much as I want without annoying neighbors, I also have an acoustically treated room which is perfect for recording saxophone with a dry, natural sound. I have quality mics, including a Schoeps CCM 41 and AEA R84.
Need a sax solo, horn section parts or overdubs? Send me your track and I’ll do the tracking here and send back WAV files ready for your mix. Got a film and need the sound of a dying goat? I'm your man! I've got them all, sopranino, soprano, alto, tenor, baritone and bass sax. You can also come by and record here in person. If we all fit...
Saxophone and woodwind lessons in Ostend, West Flanders and online
I’ve been playing saxophone professionally for about 25 years and teaching for around 20. If you’re interested in jazz, blues, classical, improvisation or whatever, I offer lessons in person at my home in Oostende or via Zoom. If you’re nearby in West Flanders, I could even drive to you. Lessons are for beginners through advanced, kids and adults. We can work on sound, technique, reading, improvising, extended techniques, or just playing the music you love. I’m also familiar with the Trinity music system and have helped many students progress through the levels.
Lessons in English or very poor Dutch.
